Every week at our staff meeting we give out a Star Award for going above and beyond! This week the Star Award went to Collin Milone for all of his hard work on the CCE's Community Schools and Youth Programs initiative, meeting with countless Binghamton University students who want to volunteer in local schools. Collin is currently working on a master’s degree in public administration. After serving previously as a GA for Late Nite Binghamton, he is excited to recruit students to help youth in the community.
"The CCE works to connect Binghamton University students with local youth who need our help. I am responsible for recruiting volunteers through a variety of mediums. My favorite part of the job is interviewing our volunteers. I get a chance to learn why the students want to give back to the community. A lot of the area youth just need someone to believe in them and support them. It's an energizing position because we have so many great volunteers who are excited to tutor and mentor youth."#CCEAllStars #StarAwardSaturday
